Can this bed be used like a bunk bed?
While the Flip Bed isn’t a traditional bunk bed with two stacked sleeping levels, it can be adapted to function similarly. In loft mode, you can place a mattress underneath the bed to create a bunk-style setup, perfect for siblings or sleepovers.
What age is this bed suitable for?
The Flip Bed is ideal for children aged 3 and up. The lower setting is great for toddlers, while the lofted version is better suited for older kids.
Is the bed safe for climbing?
Yes, the structure is stable and secure. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children using the lofted setup.
Do I need to disassemble the bed to change the height?
Not at all. Simply remove the ply base beneath the mattress and reposition it at the alternate level. The bed flips easily between low and lofted modes without any dismantling.
What mattress works best?
It fits a standard EU single kids' mattress. For the lofted mode or a bunk-style setup, we recommend a low-profile mattress (up to 6 inches).
Can the space under the loft be used?
Absolutely. It’s great for toy storage, reading nooks or an additional mattress to mimic a bunk bed arrangement.
Is the finish child-safe?
Yes. The Flip Bed is coated with a food-safe, non-toxic matte water-based PU finish.
Is it suitable for adults?
This bed is designed for children and is not recommended for adult use.

Perfect first bed!

As our son grew out of his cot, we started looking for his first bed. We wanted a bunk bed that felt sturdy and solid, would grow with him and obviously looked great. The lila flip bed met all our requirements and after having it in our son’s room for a few months now, I have no hesitation in saying that it is worth the investment. It’s not just a bed for our son but his favourite accessory for pretend play and his own private tent to dream up new adventures in. All of us love the bed!

We had been looking for a bed for our child for a long time . After a bit of a search, we found the Lila flip bed. It fit all our requirements - a bunk bed with simple and clean lines, sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. The Lila bed checked all the boxes. What’s more as the name suggests the bed can flip from a bunk bed to a single poster bed when needed. While there are similar design options available out there, the use of the Ash wood and birch plywood makes it pleasing to the eyes and very sturdy.Assembly was also easy and took us less than 30 minutes to put it together. Very sturdy bed !

I love every furniture built! The bed especially because it’s multi functional and so sturdy. Love the finishing and the color. Fits perfectly well even in a small room. Can be revered and used as a small tent space as well :) my daughter loves her new room 💕
