About Lila
Established in 2023, Lila is a design-led children’s furniture studio focused on supporting early childhood development through thoughtfully designed environments. Rooted in the philosophical idea of cosmic play, where exploration is driven by curiosity rather than instruction, Lila creates furniture that allows children to learn through movement, interaction, and self-directed discovery. Rather than treating furniture as static objects, Lila approaches design as a system that evolves alongside the child, supporting changing abilities, proportions, and ways of engaging with space.
